Ron Welch
Owner
Ron Welch is the Founder & CEO of Redefine Construction (RDC), a friend of Mogens Smed, interior construction giant who founded SMED international, DIRTT and Falkbuilt. Ron is a shareholder in Falkbuilt, as well as serves on the Board of Directors.
Ron has been in the interiors industry since 1982 and founded bauhaus in 1992, serving the Texas and Oklahoma region specializing in research/ design/ facility services/ and interior construction. He grew the company into a $30 million operation with offices in Dallas, Tulsa and Houston. His reliance on his finely tuned instinct and always putting forth best business practice to respond to market trends as well as individual client’s needs has earned him the reputation he enjoys today. Ron sold the Bauhaus enterprise in 2022 and has a singular focus on interior prefabricated construction with RDC.
Ron is a founding member of an elite industry organization, FALKERS, of selective Falkbuilt branches and influencers around the nation focused on emerging trends in the industry. Ron keeps RDC on point and responsive based on current research, best practices, and solid hands-on leadership from lessons learned in the elite group.
Ron & Kim have a daughter and two beautiful grandchildren which keeps him laughing and on his toes. He has a love of golf, shooting and fly-fishing which fills his time when he’s not with friends and family.

Lindsay Castillo
Principal
As Principal of Redefine Construction with over 15 years of experience, Lindsay has performed multiple roles in the construction industry making her well versed in all aspects from design through construction.
With a degree in commercial interior design at Ohio State University, she worked as designer for a fortune 500 healthcare company however excelled in real estate planning services and project management. As her career expanded, she moved to Chicago specializing in business development, leading a construction team focusing on all vertical markets specializing in everything from corporate, healthcare, to government.
After opening the Falkbuilt Chicago Branch Lindsay wanted to expand her career in the south focusing on Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Her ability to be agile through projects, leading large teams through all aspects of design and construction while helping guide project teams through integrating a more sustainable, cost-effective solution to construction has been her passion for years.
Her ability to thrive in fast paced projects, problem-solve with attention to details, schedules, budgets, and efficiencies brings a well-rounded attitude to the project team for her clients' success.
In her free time, Lindsay loves to spend time with friends and family, try new restaurants and bars, enjoys live music, traveling (her favorite trip was to Australia to dive the Great Barrier Reef) and will take any opportunity to get out on the water to boat or fish.
Stephen Boyd
Chief Financial Officer
As a leader at Redefine Construction, Stephen brings seven years of experience in accounting and financial strategy across diverse industries ranging from supply chain logistics for aerospace and defense contractors, COVID-19 surveillance testing for film and television studios and heavy equipment rental firms. He is well equipped to ensure strong foundations are laid around oversight, profitability and keeping the firm apt to respond to changing client needs. He looks forward to applying his knowledge of systems planning, analytics and leadership to this highly motivated team.
As a Dallas native Stephen is enthusiastic to be part of the Redefine Construction team and feels right at home near his alma mater of Southern Methodist University where he holds a BS in Economics with Financial Applications. Stephen is a native Spanish speaker, Eagle Scout and In his spare time this former country western dance instructor is studying for his FMVA or boot scootin' on a dance floor somewhere around DFW.

Nicolle Loud
Designer
Starting her career in Miami, FL, Nicolle earned her Master of Architecture from Florida International University. As the Lead Designer of Redefine Construction she brings 8 years of experience in the A&D industry working in several sectors ranging from Residential High Rises, Mixed-Use Commercial, Corporate Interiors and Education between her time in Miami and Dallas.
With her background in Architecture and focus on Interior Architecture, Nicolle has executed a multitude of projects through all construction phases. From creating design concepts through to construction administration, she is well versed in facilitating the required coordination at each phase.
As part of the Redefine Construction team, Nicolle enjoys partnering with designers and clients to work through design challenges, offer creative solutions to support their vision and help integrate a sustainable approach. Her attention to detail aims to create a seamless experience and deliver a well-coordinated project.
Born to Colombian parents, Nicolle is fluent in Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, yoga, and catching sunsets by the Lake with her husband Caleb.

Dom Kyle
Project Coordinator
As Project Coordinator of Redefine Construction with over 20 years of in-the-field experience, Dom has managed projects from multiple aspects, including sales, customer service, vendor management & team project management.
With most of his background in leadership and a fear of being stagnant, Dom has always gravitated toward challenges and opportunities to push himself outside his comfort zone. He prides himself on consistently hitting project budgets, increasing revenue, maintaining project schedules, and exceeding personal goals via tracking multiple data points.
After over ten years in leadership positions, Dom decided to try a new role in sales - single & multi-family furniture, ancillary, and décor sales. He applied his skills from previous roles helping him deliver exceptional customer service via consistent communication and vendor follow-up.
He started working at Redefine Construction, formerly Falkbuilt Direct, in 2020, as a Project Coordinator, working on projects in Texas, Oklahoma, California & Georgia. His ability to always approach any obstacle as a problem that has yet to be solved, utilizing a holistic approach to projects such as budgeting, the foresight of potential scheduling constraints, vendor management, and team communication, has contributed to many project successes.
In his free time, Dom enjoys working out, live music (mainly electronic), spending time with friends and family, biking, traveling, disconnecting with his house plants, and constantly striving to learn something new. Jack of all trades, master of some.

Gene Davis
Barrisol Project Manager
Gene Davis serves as Project Manager at Redefine Construction (RDC). Before entering the commercial construction industry, Gene worked at Tri-Tex Enterprises for 14 years focusing on multifamily housing as a building engineer specializing in air conditioning and refrigeration. In 2008, Gene transitioned to specialize in architectural acoustic products, providing acoustic solutions in the commercial, hospitality, entertainment, healthcare, and education industries.
Gene has extensive knowledge in acoustics and has worked with Barrisol and other acoustic products, installation, and fabrication for 15 years. He is a Certified Barrisol Installer, Kembs France expert and has OSHA 30 Safety Training.
The breadth and depth of Gene’s product knowledge for Barrisol is sought out by lighting companies and architecture firms from all over the country. Gene brings together partners to coordinate ceiling solutions for unparalleled success.
He has worked on notable projects like the AT&T Stadium Miller Lite Endzone, Ross Perot Museum, Discovery Tower, Exxon Mobile Campus and the Marathon Oil Lobby in Texas.
When not spending time with his 8 grandkids, Gene is on the road traveling through Texas or Oklahoma byways on his Softail Custom Deluxe Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also enjoys spending time in his shop forging handmade custom knives.

Tara Deffes York
Business Development
With a passion for driving growth and forging meaningful partnerships, Tara is an accomplished business development professional with a proven track record of success. She has a bubbly personality and is a natural communicator, which is why she excels in building and nurturing strong relationships with clients and key people within the industry. She considers herself a results-driven professional with an unwavering dedication to excellence and will always be a driving force in empowering businesses to reach their full potential.
Tara is a New Orleans native who is building a life in Dallas with her husband Blake. She has two bonus children, Aubriana and Zephyr, and two dogs, Chef and Enzo. In her free time, Tara enjoys being in the kitchen cooking for family and friends, comedy and music shows, serenading her husband as well as going on adventures. Tara is also an avid supporter of organ donation, as both her late father and late stepfather were transplant recipients.

Curtis Doyon
Project Manager
Curtis Doyon is an accomplished Site Superintendent with a remarkable career spanning over two decades in the construction industry. His journey began in the field, and he has risen through the ranks to become a seasoned professional known for his impeccable project management skills that has led him from Colorado to the great state of Texas.
As a Site Superintendent, Curtis is the driving force behind the successful execution of our projects. With a strong background in construction, he has honed his expertise in coordinating trades, ensuring safety standards, and overseeing day-to-day activities on the job site. Curtis's commitment to quality and adherence to deadlines make him an invaluable asset to our team.
Throughout his career, Curtis has overseen construction teams for a diverse range of projects, including Showroom, Healthcare, Corporate, Higher Education, K-12 Education, Training Centers, and Government facilities. He excels in building and maintaining relationships with contractors, architects, and tradespeople, leveraging his extensive industry knowledge to deliver outstanding results.
In his role as Site Superintendent, Curtis brings construction projects to life through meticulous planning, problem-solving, and strategic oversight. He is dedicated to managing project scopes, budgets, and timelines with precision, ensuring the successful completion of every endeavor.
Outside of work, Curtis enjoys a well-rounded life. He’s a dedicated family man cherishing moments spent with his wife and two children. Curtis is a passionate supporter of his son’s motocross racing, and likes to ride and race as well. When not at the track he can be found rooting for his daughter at a cheer gym. In addition, Curtis is also an avid beef jerky enthusiast, spending time crafting his own delicious flavors.

Kenidee Porter
Estimator
Kenidee Porter is a dynamic and enthusiastic estimator at Redefine Construction, LLC, bringing fresh insights and innovative ideas to the team as a recent college graduate. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May 2024, where she developed a strong educational background in construction management and design.
Kenidee's academic journey has honed her skills in Revit, Blue Beam, Take Offs, Excel, and internal pricing summary, alongside her proficiency in proposal creation and accuracy through the Falkbuilt Portal. Her passion for construction and design is evident in her meticulous approach to estimating, ensuring every project is scoped accurately, budgeted effectively, and scheduled efficiently.
During her time at the University of Oklahoma, Kenidee participated in the National Association of Home Builders Student Competition from August 2022 to January 2023, as part of the Production and Custom team. She was also a 2023 CIDA Accreditation Student Candidate Interview, further showcasing her commitment to excellence and professional development.
Recently married, Kenidee balances her new personal milestones with her professional ambitions. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, baking and spending quality time with her husband, Bryson. Despite being new to the professional field, her dedication and commitment to excellence are already making a significant impact. She is eager to learn, grow, and collaborate with the seasoned professionals at Redefine Construction, building strong relationships with general contractors, architects, and subcontractor teams.
